Halifax Student Current Account / Web Saver

Just as note that, as from today, the Halifax Web Saver has a lower interest rate (a pathetic 1.1%) than their student current account (2%).
So if you've been putting your student loan in there to get a higher interest rate on it then transferring some over when you need it (like i've been doing), it isn't worth doing it now.
That is, unless you are in your (interest free) overdraft, in which case you are marginally better off by putting that in there... although the risk of accidentally going over your overdraft probably outweighs that.

I thought the Halifax student current account got 0.1% interest. Better than I thought.0
