Credit rating and current accounts

Does anybody know if having several current accounts can affect your credit rating? I have opened up 2 new ones for their regular savings sister accounts and am looking at opening another.

YB my cosy relationship with my bank goes back to the early 80's I know I should change but better the devil you know etc. So i'll not beat you with the YOU MUST CHANGE YOUR BANK stick!
