working from home - too good to be true?

I have 2 small children and am pregnant with my third. I need to earn a little extra income. In today's local paper there was an ad for data entry clerks working from home. I've looked up the website (not sure if I'm allowed to link to it) and it says each "order" is worth 20 odd quid and full training is given. Trouble is they want a £25 admin fee. Do you reckon this is nothing more than a scam?

And does anyone know how you go about finding home work, especially data entry type stuff?

sorry if this isnt the best place to post

I'd stay clear - anything that asks you for upfront money is likely to be a scam

Scam, sorry. You should never have to pay to work.

Put the link on, it's allowed :)

I found home work by word of mouth, my sis-in-law was in the right place at the right time :D

They pay by paypal, each payment costs you 20p + 3.4%. So when you earn £25, you will only receive £23.95 :(

Have a look HERE, it might give you some ideas and also what to avoid.

Do you sell on e-bay? If you do, why not look into becoming a trading assistant, it's really easy :D

You must have an ebay Feedback score of greater than 50.
You must have a feedback score that consists of 97% positive comments.
Sold an average of 4 items per month (during the previous 3 months).

thanks troo, I'll check the link when the baby's are sleeping.
I have sold on ebay, but not for a while, although I have a huge box of things waiting to be listed. How do I go about becoming a trading assistant? Do you have any more info or can you point me in the right direction?

gotta get the babes their lunch, but thanks in advance
