  • Sorry to hear that; finishing a 12 hour day always made me feel that I had emerged from underwater. I think that counts as an achievement in itself.

On the comfort eating front, I can empathise. There were too many Jammie Dodgers remaining here following the visit of the godchildren, and their numbers are now much reduced (the JDs that is, and also the godchildren, who have gone home). Feels pleasantly quiet here, but we're missing them already.

    Take care, X

    Hi Shoe Gal,

sympathy on the hideously long day, my wednesday's are usually about 10 hours & I often just want to cry because that's all I've done. So for doing 12  I agree with Hollyberry that completing that is achievment enough for one day & you are exempt from anything other than relaxing & resting.

It is frustrating though ... work gets in the way of so many things

I am here to confess my sins :o

I have got nowhere with all my plans - and have actually managed to put weight on  I am nearly back to my Christmas weight, only 2lbs less

Work has been really busy (I know that's an excuse, not a reason ) so I have eaten really badly and done no exercise :o Had a friend round last night and ate far too much - and now I am on the sofa watching Corrie omnibus!

Going to have a relaxing day today, having my nails done later, then I need to work out a less ambitious and more realistic plan :D

I finally weighed myself last night - I have put on almost a stone in a year. However, I realised I have been back on the pill for pretty much that same amount of time.... and I thought it wasn't giving me any side effects :( Unfortunately life is unbearable for a week a month without it, so I'll just have to pay more attention to my diet and actually exercise once in a blue moon! I actually have been eating pretty healthily for the last week, so in a backward way I'm hoping I weighed more and have lost some before I weighed if that makes sense!

Bet the nails look lovely - I still need to do mine!

 but l follow your theory about having already lost some :D

I am thinking about going back on the pill for the same reasons - came off it as as l obviously don't need it for it's proper purpose :o but l am suffering too - and my skin is awful which l think may also be connected

    I love my nails :D
