    Hey shoe gal

Just read through the last week's posts on here.....

don't be sad, poor thing!! I can't stop eating either! Even though I'm not hungry I still eat. I think a lot of people do and it does make you feel kind of rubbish, but youj're not the only one that's for sure! :D

As for being single and it making you unhappy I do know exactly how you feel. I lived on my own for ahem.... years and then things all chnaged really suddenly. I used to feel really lonely and really sorry for myself. To the point that if I had an accident and didn't get home then how long would it be before anyone actually noticed!! (That sounds morbid and horrible, but that's how I used to think!) And then I realised that people did care, people at work as well as family and that just because my friends didn't speak to me every day, or every week, it's because they were busy wit the their own lives but would always be there for me if I did need them. And sometimes I'd ring them and tell them I was sad and by the end of the conversation I'd be giggling (or crying, or both!) and it'd all be okay again. Chin up chicken, Mr right or Mr will do for now (!!) will come along soon.... And at least you don't have to put up with waking up to stinky farts, constant mess that you didn't make, having to watch bl00dy football on the tv etc etc!

Stay strong and pamper yourself, you deserve it. You inspired me to get a grip on this debt malarkey and whilst you think that yours may be increasing at the mo, if they're going to at any point, it's going to be this time of the year. It's inevitable!! But we'll all get on it Jan and you'll be all good. :D:D:D

Aw Shoegal, you're doing so well but we all feel carp at times love. Winter can be a bit grim at the best of times and added to all this money malarkey and the fact that you feel lonely, no wonder you had a bit of a cry!!!! Just need to remember that you're totally on the right track. You ladies have made me sort my money out so much and I feel so much more organised with my spending already. Never easy to cut back on things you enjoy, guess it's a case of prioritising and allowing cheap treats so you don't get down.

    Hope you're okay XXX

((((hugs)))) Shoegal. Lula is right about SAD, it is apparently more common in those who have previously had depression or .... STRESS which I know you have had in spades. Getting out for a run or to the gym (especially classes) really helps me. Try also to think of how many people you have helped, in your job in your personal life and in the virtual world - indisputably F Fabulous!! ;)

  • Awww ShoeGal...I do not know how I've missed this thread for the last week :confused:

I can't say anything more than the others have but didn't want to just read and run.

I can't tell you how much I agree with this....

Although I'm as single as you, I do have the constant companionship of DD which means I have to just get on with stuff even when I dont want to. I cant imagine just how difficult it is to have to motivate yourself every day. You work hugely long hours, maintain your home & offer so much help, support & advice to so many people on here & I think you are absolutely F Fabulous :A.
I too had to dry my eyes after reading Lula's post!!

I really really hope you start to feel better soon :grouphug: Wish I could do something to make you feel better.
