  • The CCCS told me I had to get a credit check from Experian and they sent me a form.

The form (or the letter from CCCS) does not state anything about making any payment for this but I thought you had to pay???
  • Hi, just spoke to Baines & Ersnt today who went ahead with my application, does anyone know the chances of it getting declined? I mean, is it very likely?

I know experian will send a credit report for free if you apply online, you have to put your card details in but they only charge after 30 days for a monthly subscription, which can be cancelled before any payment is taken.
fill out your form and send it without payment, if Experian ask you to pay, do it for free through the Experian website!

Experian have agreed to provide free reports to Approved Intermediaries who are setting up a DRO for a client. The forms they provide have 'free report' printed lightly on a diagonal across the form.

    Found a new job?

    Income increased?

    moved abroad?

Has it caused any problems with the IS?

Hi The post I responded to stated that Baines and Ernst were "neither use nor ornament" for beenfist advice. I am simply responding to that assertion with a bit of factual information. I am not touting for business as this is a service we don't advertise. It is very difficlut to respond to posts such as that one without saying something which someone may consider to be "touting for business."

The cccs reccomended this to me. How is this monitored after you have taken a DRO? What are the chances of this application going through?
I'm worried how it will affect my ability to get references for rented houses if I apply.
There is a chance I might get a better job, therefore be able to pay more within a year, is it worth it?
How do they check your income, once you have applied do you have to inform them of your finances on a regular basis, this seems like it could be very intrusive?
I'm considering this, but it seems like it may be more hassle, if indeed things do look up. Saying that the debt I owe is more than half incurred by bank charges and the opportunity to stitch them up, makes me happy and I've been struggling with this for more than 5 years- althoughare these orders funded by taxpayers, I don't want to stitch up other people?
