So, great relief, DRO officially approved today a mere 2 days after submission.
Do I need to do anything now in respect of sending the notice to my creditors or will the insolvency people send it to each of them??'Beware of little expenses. A small leak will sink a great ship'. -Benjamin Franklin.0 -

What can I expect next? Endless creditors phone calls and knocks at the door??Will my banks be periodically inspected??
it’s more nerve wracking now than before.☹️
Your bank account is not checked by anyone, that would be a breach of the GDPR.
Once approved, you wait 12 months, life carries on as per normal, after which your debts are written off.

The fees paid for the DRO really don't allow much oversight. It's based on self-reporting.
Obviously if you get an inheritance and lottery win, you need to report it. If you get a small pay increase, do check whether your outings have increased as well.
If you've have not made a mistake, you've made nothing0 -
Hi, is this normal. Obviously I was expecting it but not the ccj part.

Hi, Is it normal to not receive any acknowledgment from creditors?? DRO was approved a month ago and so far I’ve only had missed payment letters.
Is it up to me to inform creditors??'Beware of little expenses. A small leak will sink a great ship'. -Benjamin Franklin.0 -
They are informed by the Insolvency Service0

But non of that matters, a DRO is a statutory insolvency solution, you may get an acknowledgement letter or you may not, but after 12 months your debts are written off, and you are then debt free.
During this moratorium period, your creditors can`t approach you for payment, so some will just go radio silent.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free wannabe, Credit file and ratings, and Bankruptcy and living with it boards. I was granted a DRO on 25 September 2019, which completed successfully on 25 September 2020. When will the DRO fall off my credit reports? Is it 6 years from when the DRO was granted (25/09/19) or 6 years from when it was satisfied (25/09/20).Thanks in advance for any reply.0
