Organic porridge oats in a muslin bag (or make a bag out of a baby's muslin or use the foot of pair of tights or pop sock) and then run warm water through. This leaves the water a silky grey. You can do this in the bath if it's on your body or into the sink and splash onto your face if it's on your face. Pat dry very lightly so as not to rub it all off. Do this as often as you can until it's clear.
If you want to add moisturiser then Dr Hauschka or another organic one will help loads. Avoid chemicals at all costs.
Tried and tested in this household. We tried everything so I promise its a golden tip. Good luck.
p.s Dr H do make up too which would be best for your iritated skin. Their stuff is not cheap (although a bit less on e bay) but lasts ages and is brilliant. They used to do "trial" size of most products for about £3. Probably still do - check their website. That's the sign of a company with a good product as you don't have to pay out a fortune for a full size one.MTC NMP Membership #62 - made it back to size 12 after my children & I'm staying here!0 -
Hi, I have suffered with excema on my eyelids for a couple of years. I have done the same as everyone else: given up makeup, used various creams, even the purest of pure recommended to me by the pharmacist/doctor would sting and burn. I must have spent tens of pounds on creams. The only thing that does not sting and seems to help settle the redness is colloidal silver, a bottle of which I had for another skin problem. I knew it was very mind so I tried it on my eyes (dabbing each lid gently with a cotton bud dipped in the c.silver) and it gave me relief. Check it out on a site: www ukcolloidalsilver co uk - they do a trial bottle quite cheap.0
