Thanks have just ordered some as have recently bought a DVD recorder with VHS to transfer home movies.

Not knowing much about the the ins and outs of DVDs, someone mentioned about the TY02 dye type????? offered at Staples and I wondered if these Verbatim ones are the same. As the saying goes, "You learn something new everyday."

My ordered arrived this morning like the lady said. I've not burnt any yet but the media is not TY02, it is MCC 03RG20 which are apparently not too good on a lot of drives when burnt at higher speeds.

Also,

Make sure your burner takes "-'s" and not "+" disc's too... Always worth reading your manual before you order.. I have a Samsung DVDR which takes "-'s" and a Phillips DVDR that takes "+'s"....

I don't use the Samsung nowadays as it's crap!

Cheers for this find cracker_jack, I'm happy to wait a few days for mine so went ahead and ordered once I saw a bit of feedback. A new DVD player that plays divx is calling out for some treats!

I've used Mouse2House before (for printer ink when they did a special) - an d they were fine.

I ordered these Verbatim's from Mouse2House on the 29th Dec, and they arrived yesterday (Fri 9th). I don't remember them being this slow last time - but I didn't mind waiting for such a good deal.

I also bought at Staples in the meantime - and even though they only had one 50 pack on the shelf - they still honoured the £12 ish price for a 100 pack - Staples is a fantastic place to shop!.
