Had a phone call from them the other day - before the salesperson could give all the patter just said I was only interested if I didnt have to pay..as I had entered their competition! She was very nice and wished me luck.

I got a call this morning too from an 'unknown' number. I cut into her sales speech, and said I'll contact them if I wanted a bedroom. I have to admit she was polite.

It's a bit naughty of the company to do this, as I ticked the box for them not to contact me, but just send a brochure.

I thought Hammonds was a small company, but they are huge national chain -they should have better marketing ethics.

Phoned within 30secs, just told her that I couldn't afford a new bedroom and I'd requested the brochure because of the comp and she was fine about it...I suspect I might have been un-entered...

phone rang twice within 5 minutes - I'm leaving the answerphone to talk to them! Only sales call my landline anyway

I wish I had read through all the posts,entered comp and could not beleive it with in a minute of submiting,had a phone call from a pushy women, who was trying to arrange a salesman to come round this week
