Just to let you know Hammonds pester power is numerous phone calls once they get your details for a catalogue request! I am an existing Hammonds customer from a few years ago & have entered the previous competition but had to be really assertive to get them to leave me alone.

Heh - I've entered, I'll see if I can do the same thing as with my free windows - be all excited when they call, start talking about how happy I am to win the competition, wait for them to stop me, and advise them I'll be happy for them to come over for a free bedroom outfitting

I got my call at 8.10 this morning, it was a very persistant woman insisting they had a slot for a designer to visit me tomorrow for a 10% off bedroom refit.. As I had been up all night with work I was not feeling my best, so my language was a little choice. I doubt I will be winning. Many thanks to the wonderful staff at Birmingham Childrens Hospital caring for my tiny and very poorly grandson who was born at 29 weeks. Thanks to them he is getting a little stronger every day.:A:A:A0

I was called as well after enteringIf you can't be nice then stay silent0

I fobbed her off by saying that I hadn't actually talked it over with my husband yet and he would go mad if I booked a salesman....I was going to introduce the idea quietly with the brochure first.
I'm single......so when she rings back I'll say that he said no to a new bedroom.
She's very persistent....dog with a bone springs to mind.My initials are JR on Facebook

30 minutes for me. I just calmly stated I did it for the competition, had no intention of doing a viewing since I can't afford to buy any stuff, but I'll use the brochure for inspiration> Had to do it a couple of times, but hopefully managed!---reech!

Sorry about the phone calls, I said that I had asked them not to contact me and please don't call again. Seems to do the trick usually.0
