What time does your car go to be MOT'd nicki? Are you going to wait while they do it? Make sure you warm it up before you give it to them, although they do warm it up before they test the emissions.Make £5 a day JAN £121/175 FEB £283/175:jWeekly Grocery budget of £35! Jan £95.05/175 Feb £37.53/1750

Afternoon all. Welcome Grammargirl, I'm sure you'll squeeze in somewhere between us all and find a nice warm place to sit and chat.
Nicki good luck with the car, take it for a nice long drive to give it a blow out and warm it up before you take it in.
I have to get OH to book mine in tomorrow. I'm worse than you as I wimp out and make someone else take my cars for me when it's MOT time. I took my own once and was nervous as hell lol.
I need some lunch, forgot earlier then I AM going to write some of this novel to give it a start so kick me out if you see me in here in the next hour.
Oh I got another £10 bport voucher this morning, had a lucky couple of days on there.0 -
Lol, it might, but I'll be surprised if it does. Thanks for confirming Maria. I've had a look & it expires on the 10th, that means that in theory I could drive it to Brighton on the 9th, leave it parked, then come back on the 11th and go straight to the test place (provided they're open). I probably shouldn't be planning this already lol. Finally bought a homeStarting mortgage £289,500 31.01.19 - Current outstanding £192,586.98/CENTER]Overpayments since 27.03.19: £52,407.470

It's booked for 2 so that will give me a while to drive it about beforehand. I live quite close to a dual carriageway so I'll try and give it a run up that I think.
How are you getting all these vouchers Yukki! I think I'm going to have a go on the slots. Finally bought a homeStarting mortgage £289,500 31.01.19 - Current outstanding £192,586.98/CENTER]Overpayments since 27.03.19: £52,407.470 -
CL I'm sure college will be fine once you get back into it, and you may be surprised about your exam results.
Nicki I had some very lucky spins on the slots. Got bells yesterday and today, as well as all the rainbows today on the slots.0 -
Jen when you're in - Did you chase up that amazon voucher from Jackpotjoy? someone on the make £10 a day thread chased theirs and have been told they will get it now.0

Thanks for the encouragement guys, I just feel rotten about it all at the moment... I go through phases of thinking that I understand, then when I look at it again/do an exam it makes no sense. Urgh never mind, I'm going to face the music tonight though I already know what the result will be (pretty certain tbh). And if it's bad I'll console myself with a couple of ciders :S
Anyway, good luck with the MOT Nikki. My parents are always nervous when they take our old rust-bucket... but somehow it always passes!
I'm going to try the bingoport thing tonight when I get back - it sounds like a good way to make some Amazon vouchers (apart from dooyoo, which I don't do).0 -

You know we was talking about the football pools the other night. Did you guys do the Vernons football or football pools?
There are two on quidco, i signed up for the football pools you get £15 if you deposit £15...it doesnt say anything about wagering anything. I played £5 to get the £15 free bets though and its tracked. Are they the same site or could you do both?
Im off to check.
EDIT: They are different sites. Dont think i will bother with Vernons though if you have to wager £10...only £5 profit.Make £5 a day JAN £121/175 FEB £283/175:jWeekly Grocery budget of £35! Jan £95.05/175 Feb £37.53/1750 -
I would pop over to the jan £10 board and pm the lady who has also had trouble Jen. She may be able to tell you something you haven't done.0
