Morning all. I have today off but the house is a mess and I have no motivation this morning so not sure what I'll get up to.
Have a great day though everyone.0 -
Well havent received a phone call so looks like i might not be in work this week either, oh dear! i need permanent work but so many people are going for 1 job, its practically luck if you get the position, jobs i apply for and get to interview get withdrawn so the whole position is cancelled or they just dont get back to you when you fill out applications. I hate agencies and to make it even worse all the agencies are competing for the jobs and trying to undercut eachother, i am on £6ph and that is bad enough, i cant even survive on that the only reason i manage it is coz its weekly pay (and the free money is helping me, quidco, scratchcards).Due to budget cuts the light at the end of the tunnel will be switched off.

I'm sorry about the job situation Stacy, if it helps I'm in the same boat. I've had two temp jobs since I've graduated which have totalled about three months work, I was on JSA for about 2 months last summer but apart from that I've had nothing in. I know I'm trying to start the jewellery thing but whatever I do get from it will be nothing like a full time job, and as I haven't put any effort into selling since the recession hit I've absolutely no idea how much I'll make. I hate the Reed site most because it tells you howmany applications they've had, most office jobs around here have at least 100-150 applications and I bet most of those have more office experience than me so it's hard to compete. Finally bought a homeStarting mortgage £289,500 31.01.19 - Current outstanding £192,586.98/CENTER]Overpayments since 27.03.19: £52,407.470

Yeah i hate agencies like that and then i never apply for their jobs because they already have so many applicants. I feel like my situation is totally my own fault though because i just left my last job (before the recession hit) as i was travelling to london everyday taking 5 hours to travel to and from work so affecting my sleep, affecting revision ect (i was a trainee train driver, very good pay). i didnt know there were railway agencies so when i did i signed up to 2, no one has got back to me yet! just looked on job centre website and found rail track workers (i could do this because i have a PTS card from being a train driver) but i think it might be hard heavy work and they wont want a woman, i am 5ft 3, so would i be any use?! i am going to apply anyway as its working in my area, i have the PTS card which is what they are asking for and i dont reallly have anything to lose do i! Hope your work improves nichelette and i do hope the jewellery takes off, your work is good so i think its just getting your name about that is the main thing.Due to budget cuts the light at the end of the tunnel will be switched off.
