I agree, Abbey are terrible, I can't wait to get rid of them, though I've never actually had any bank charges. My gripe is more witht he SLC lol. I watched my grant half every year despite getting nothing from my parents (who were also paying a small fortune to get divorced), and it wasn't like my dad was earning a lot to start with. I did get an achievement based scholarship but it was only £1000.
In my last year I got £150 grant in contrast to my boyfriends £850. He was getting his rent paid by his dad who retired on half of a (very good) wage plus money plenty ofmoney for birthday/christmas presents. He only got so much because he lived with his mum who worked normal working hours in a office. They really shouldn't just assess one parent when they calculate loans..Then he got a job at the home office after I did the politics degree lol. .Anyway, rant over.Sorry! Finally bought a homeStarting mortgage £289,500 31.01.19 - Current outstanding £192,586.98/CENTER]Overpayments since 27.03.19: £52,407.470 -

Hi everyone.
MM how exciting about your new car, hope you enjoy it.
Jen what a horrid day. Yesterday was like that for me nothing went right and we topped it off in A + E when I picked dd2 up from nursery and she wouldn't move her arm. Turns out she pulled her el bow which is common but I didn;t know that at the time and nursery didn;t notice anything when I called them.
Top that off with the doctors putting it back in after a long wait with a toddler after bedtime and then this morning she still wouldn't use it and I had to go to work all day. OH took her back to A+E and I couldn;t go which made me feel crap but she's fine. Still wont use it but all is in the right place.
Sorry for the rant.0 -

Thanks girls, I know I shouldn't feel guilty but I do lol. I wrote a review yesterday Jen. Have stepped down as a guide for now as well. I think I have too much going on and not enough time to do everything so something is going to give lol.
I did a bit of a catch up with reading over there today though and will get back to it as I enjoy the writing side of it.0 -
i think it will take me a long time to get back up to £50 on dooyoo as i seem to have run out of steam on there a bit at the moment.
I need to look at a new challange as i have now filled my isa and i have £2,100 for next years Isa so i need to set a target on £1,500 maybe by August?:j Proud mum to Jade age 10 years and Baby Ellie born Christmas Day:eek: with a broke heartProven to be a little fighter and battling on with her heart condition :j
