I think local post offices usually close at 12 on Saturday, but the larger ones are open all day. My local one closes at lunchtime anyway.

I know Maria, houses in Margate and some other parts of Kent are insanely cheap. I know the kind of reputation Margate has, but it has a really nice sandy beach and most of the houses are gorgeous huge victorian things. The house my friend used to live in was amazing.
I keep trying to convince my boyfriend we should live in Kent but he doesn't want to because he lives in London and the cheap places aren't really within a commutable distance. The house I live in is a 3 bed ex council terrace, nothing special (and I live in a really bad area), but it's still worth about £170k. That's why Kent appeals so much lol. Finally bought a homeStarting mortgage £289,500 31.01.19 - Current outstanding £189,497.12Overpayments since 27.03.19: £53,964.80Moving fund so far £2500 - Premium bonds £9,5000
