  • Well done Pam for putting the totals together. Rather you than me!!! Unfortunately I forgot to post mine this week, so will wait till next week now rather than confuse the issue.
I don't have very much to add to my totals this time, we've been having work done in the house which has taken up a lot of our time, plus work and everything else! Never mind, every little helps as they say.

well girls I must confes I got more wool!! eek I now have a hoard of stash! Got two balls of sidar snuggly baby bamboo - col here
    http://www.woodlandyarns.co.uk/sirdar-snuggly-baby-bamboo-dk---146-nestle-new-aw-08-1235-p.asp
but a definate lesson in buying online!! Mind you being a newby I like to see the texture! Also have some nice bamboo needles which is a definate preference - the plastic ones arent as easy to knit on me thinks? Anyway will have a tody and do some beading and then make a start! My sock monkey is posted on my diary thread if anyone is interested! She went down very well and people said they would buy one!!
lol re being a pa - am sure she will appreciate it! As for whisky find it gives heartburn but red wine is a different matter and seem to knit faster!!

Hi everyone -- I keep checking to see if there is any news of Kathy and thinking what a wonderful job Pam is doing -- It will be so lovely for Kathy to come back on and see evberything up to date during her absence-- we have
    missed you Kathy!!
So good to see you posting Maytaurus ( still cant get the lobster out of my head !!!)

I am always very aware that some people never get an individual mention but I hope everyone feels their individual efforts on this thread lead to such a wonderful sense of good. It has grown to quite an amazing thread -- full of good intent so thank you one and all !!

Well the needles travel with me everywhere but I have been busy making the favour bags for my sons wedding in the uk in May ( It seems only yesterday Kathy was doing the same for her sons wedding last May !!)

We are getting prepared for the long journey homewards -- 10-11 hour journey in the sunshine bus. I can knit all the way . Last year baby hats -- not sure what will take my fancy this year. Then we are in the Uk until October. That seems an awfully long time to be away from here at the moment as we are so happy here in Spain. The impact blue skies, sunshine and only ourselves to please is so great. But it will be lovely to see family and friends and DMIL deserves some serious TLC !!

So no real updates but really nice to be in touch with you all .

Hi Chalky - you're right its a super word.

    Evberyone
here is so kind and generous with their support - I like little challenges and simply felt it would take the weight of Mioliere when she finds us again if the numbers were done. It helped give me a feel for the complexity of the task & how best to develop a spreadsheet to help.

Anyway it made a change from knitting boobs - getting bored with them now!

    Thanks to all of you.

    luv
