so sorry to hear about your cat
I lost one of my Papillion’s with kidney failure,
she was 11 yrs old, it was a real shock & I know it’s stupid but I felt so guilty because I couldn’t get her to eat the special food recommended by the vet, they told me that some dogs just won’t eat it & if they won’t there’s nothing you can do.
I still have her brother who was 13 yrs old on twelfth night and the vet’s really impressed with him still going strong, but I’m dreading him going
I always tell myself that you know they had a good life with you & remember all the happiness & love you’ve shared

    Hi All

    Still no Kathy?
Sorry to hear about your poorly cat craftlady.
Hope you had a good trip Jaqui.
Have been in and out of the house doing the washing line dance today - hang washing out, it rains, bring washing in *rep til truly fed up with it!*
Have been looking at the updates coming in - you are all very good doing the boobs that are needed and I'm ashamed to say I still haven't attempted one! Is the straight forward knitted boob the one from LH site? Definitely don't want any fancy bits on my first one!
    Hope you are all well.

looking forward to the F1 tomorrow thought I could knit while watching but it's looking likely to be too exciting a race and I don't want to drop me stitches

Hi OnlyGirl - I couldn't possibly even consider knitting when the gp's on, I'm usually too busy jumping up and down and shouting at the tv!

    Update
    2 gowns
    4 preemie hats
    2 buntings

My siggy will be updated too Pam, if that's any help.

A friend of a friend who also does preemie knits has offered to collect my goodies and take them up to her local SCBU as she visits them regulary (retired nurse). I've takent advantage of this as it saves me on postage, lol. I've explained to Shelley that I won't be sending the preemie stuff off to her, but she agrees with me that it really doesn't matter how they get them, as long as it all gets to where it's needed. Thanks for your support Shelley, much appreciated.

In the meantime, I hope I'll be allowed to continue to post my totals here! Must take myself off and have a few hours sleep before the gp, talk to you all tomorrow.

    Aeshna x

    There's a fancy one?:eek::eek:?

Have a go at the LH one - dont be put off with the increasing at the beginning - it gets a bit tight to work but other than that its easy (- although even now I've put the heat back up - my boob jobs are still coming out chilly -:rotfl:see how yours turn out.!)
