Abbey Instant Plus / Visa Debit

I applied online for the new Abbey Instant Plus basic account with Visa Debit card about a month ago now after reading a post about on here but up to now I haven't had a peep from Abbey about my application yet. No card, pin or anything has arrived in the post. Anyone had this problem?

I was in the same position Lee pleased to say that i have just had email from them saying i have been accepted and card and pin etc etc will arrive shortly!!! i would check you email buddy

It will not be a Visa Debit. It will be Visa Electron.

Still nothing has arrived and I've not had any letters or emails either. Strange stuff!

Can I able apply for the Instant Plus Account online? I cannot see this account on abbey website

Yes you can apply for an Instant Plus on-line but you have to apply for a normal banking first and then tick a box on the final page to say if you don't qualify for a full bank account we will offer you a basic account. HTH
