Thanks just bought my daughter a new four poster bed. £34 inc delivery. Now all I need to do is get my OH to decorate the room, in preparation.

He's gonna love that, he was still fitting new kitchen at lunch time on Christmas Eve.

Ah well he likes to be busy.

Small warning on the use of these £30 off codes. I can't find the thread but a while ago catalogue companies started to reclaim (via charging your card) the £30 discount because codes should be personally supplied i.e e-mailed directly to you from the firm, and should not be publicly shared.

Martin got involved in the end but the upshot was becareful as he couldn't intervene again. The trick is to register on the site first just for e-mail updates, not a full acocount. You will then get an e-mail within 24 hours (often much quicker) offereing you £30 off your FIRST £60+ spend.

This applies to Additions, Marshall Ward, Littlewoods and probably a few others as they are all owned by the same company.

    Nightmare delivery!

This that Home Network courier catastrophy group

They delivered 1 of 2 boxes of my bed and a full bed of someone elses! Phoned Littlewoods and they said I can only return it and NOT get my bed as it is now out of stock! I asked why I couldn't have the other half when it is returned by the other guy and they said it doesn't go back into the system:confused:

Couldn't find courier details. So looked up address of where other bed was supposed to be delivered in my town, went to his house and after two trips down there eventually swapped boxes

    Nightmare!

PS - yes I should have checked the boxes, but one had a picture of a bed base and the other the poles, so at first glance looked ok

Moral of the story - check boxes in detail as these idiots don't give a damn if you get the right bed or they give yours to someone else!
