whats registry helper?

since my brother has been messing with my laptop messages keep popping up about registry helper, how can i get these messages to stop coming up?

Download Malwarebytes, update it and do a full scan.

registry helper seems dodgy...from further looking !!!

run malware bytes as a standalone

fix all it finds

it may need to reboot to finish off the clean

post the log it produces and a hijackthis log

I assume it's a program for fixing registry problems.

It doesn't really matter what it is though; you want to get rid of the pop-ups.

Personally speaking, aside from CCLEANER, I would advise to NEVER run any registry cleaner as they are very capable of deleting some registries they shouldnt which can in turn kill the computer!
