Barclays Online Application

Just a quick query, does anyone know if the Barclays online application service for a current account ever gives an instant answer? Or is it always a we'll contact you in a couple of days?

    What happened with me was it said that they would send me forms to sign and then send off

    Never arrived so I phoned them and they said I needed to take my ID docs into a branch

    Went in one day they photocopied them and asked if I wanted a debit card and that was it - didn't have to sign anything actually

    So I can't remember exactly but think it was instant ok
