OK, need some assistance and am struggling to find the answer online so thought I would post on here hoping one of you guys can come up trumps for me .
Our friends have bought themselves a Wii after spending a v drunken night around ours playing Wii till the small hours.
We are keen to hook up to play games against each other, so we have shared Miis and both parties can see these OK.
Do they need the same games as us to play or do they play along with us on our games/their games? Thanks

i would have thought so,0 -
You will both need copies of the game you want to play0
-
do you mean on the same console or via the internet?0
-
you need 2 copies of the same game - one for each console.
Not all games will interact with other games over the internet, but 2 examples of games that will:
MarioKart Wii
Guitar Hero: World TourOf course, I may just be talking b****cks!0 -
Tiger woods 090
-
You will both need a game - eg If you want to play Mario Kart, then both of you need the games on your consoles. And you will need to know your 'usernames'
And of course, be connected to the internet
Remember, very few Wiigames have a multiplay/online capability!0 -

How do you do this0 -
Thanks very much - we thought as much - we were going to give Mario Kart a go.How do you do this
Ensure you have a friend Wii setup in your contacts.
Set the Mii you want to share to mingle=yes and then in the Mii Channel.
In the Mii Plaza, drag the Mii using A+B buttons onto the email symbol at the top of the screen. You can then select your friend you want to email the Mii to. Press Send.
Your friend then does the same.
I think that is right - someone else will no doubt correct me if I have missed anything. Thanks to MSE, I am mortgage free!0
