Problems with emails

Options
Can someone hep please, first of all I have no idea at all about things like this and if anyone does know what is happening I will need step by step instructions.

I send and receive lots of emails every day. My daughter can send me emails from where she works. If I try to send her one, either by starting a new one or sending it via 'reply' it comes back saying it has been refused or blocked. The person who looks after the computers where she works asked if I had Norton anti virus which I have but it has never caused this problem with anyone else I have sent emails to, he said that it was Norton was doing this and the work computer was rejecting it, hope all this makes sense. What can I do about this, I have tried to uninstall Norton but I don't know how, and should I be doing this anyway? Is there some I can do about this?

Is her email entered correctly.. you may have saved it wrong.

Is it a message you get on your PC saying it couldnt be sent.
  • Are you sure you don't have a virus - only reason I can think of why a workplace would block emails.

You could try this to make sure:

    Is norton upto date?

You could setup a hotmail account and try that.
Ever get the feeling you are wasting your time?
  • there's a big possibility that your ISP has been a SPAM pest for the company your sister works for so any mails from there could be blocked and not just your email address.

Yes, it could be that your ISP is on a blacklist. Contact your ISP and try something like Hotmail or Gmail meantime.
