Is it defintely silver and not white gold? Even some 9 carat gold can irritate people with sensitive skin, as there's not a lot of gold in it, mostly alloy.0

went back to shop today and they said because there is nothing wrong with the ring and it has been worn for half hour or so......i couldnt exchange it....i told her if it was silver or 9ct white gold i cant wear them as they irritate me.
i then told her they should have stated on the display that it was 9ct yellow and white gold......do you think there is anything else i can doif you appreciate this then a thank you would be appreciated :T0 -
Most diamonds are set in white gold to make the diamond look whiter. Cz are meant to look like diamonds so sometimes they rhodium plate the claws. That way its only a one piece casting so it keeps the cost down. This is most likely whats happened. It may not be the white gold or rhodium plating thats irritating you. It may be yellow gold. You can where two 9ct rings and one irritates you and the other doesn't. It depends on what alloys the gold is mixed with.
24ct= Pure Gold
9ct is made off 9 parts gold 15 parts other metal
Could be one of these other metals that doesn't agree with you.
In this Country we all where 9ct in America they don't reconise anything under 14ct as gold
I hope I haven't confused you even more
