Card payment not debbited

I paid a card off on 27th November and they still havn't taken the money from my account. I've had the statement back and it shows I made a payment, they usually debit it within days though, is there a certain number of weeks I should wait before contacting them?

I think legally they have several months to actually take the funds (3 or 6 months - I forget which?). Something is strange though if still not showing, so worth calling them now if you're concerned - if it was me I'd leave the cash in the account to cover it and wait and see what happens!
