Just curious if there is an easy way to move all the applications and files from my old laptop? I use carbonite as a backup system so that takes care of all the various files etc on my hard drive, but what about all the applications I have downloaded etc. Is there an easy way to transfer these without having to download everything again?
Thanks
Thanks

There's not an easy way to transfer applications as they make so many custom changes to your computer when running through the install process.
There is something called the 'Files and Settings Transfer Wizard', see the following:

When you download applications, you should save them to a directory on your hard drive before installing them. If you do this you would not need to download them again. Blue text on this forum usually signifies hyperlinks, so click on them!..:wall:0 -
