the accepted rule is that if 2 quotes are exactly equal apart from quote "A" contains less miles than quote "B", quote A should be cheaper yes?
WRONG!! :wall::wall::wall::wall:
i've just done 2 quotes with 2 different screenscrapers and both produced exactly the same result, with the higher mileage quote being cheaper than the less!
can someone please explain why my 8,000 miles a year quote is cheaper than my 7,000 miles a year quote? :mad::mad:

perhaps the less miles you drive the less experianced you are so more likely to have bump!
Who knows! Will vary by underwriter what their criteria is.
given that you pay for the risk the underwritters assess you as it doesnt matter does it?? Hopefully you're trying to second guess their underwritting criteria and just making up your details to fit?0 -
Well on one site (cannot remember which now), I accidentally put in 0 yrs ncb instead of 4 yrs and realised my error when the price came up high compared to others...amended quote to be 4yrs ncb and it promptly added £80 to the quote...could not understand and needless to say did not save the quote!MARRIED MR E - 22nd Dec 2010 - technically now sazzye!:j
