Gak = Ca*k

Just a word of warning to anyone out there intending to purchase from GAK ( Guitar Amp Keyboard) , if my experience is anything to go by I would steer well clear.

In October I ordered an amp for my son's birthday, while not in stock was assured it would be within a couple of weeks....fast forward to 20th December, after weeks of constantly chasing up this lacksadaisical outfit they then tell me it won't be in stock until "sometime in 2009!!" Each time I phoned I was assured that it would definitely arrive before Christmas, as my son's birthday had long come & gone, but they never even thought to keep me informed, gave me the impression they were too busy spliffing up to be concerned with keeping customers happy, keeping me on hold for long periods, having to listen to 70's lounge music, and very quick to debit my credit card way back in October to the tune of £503!! And I am still trying to retrieve this, goes without saying I have one very disappointed 15 year old who is as frustrated with their service as I am, and who will never recommend their website to any of his guitarist friends, totally abysmal...Rant Over!!:mad:

    Your experience is the complete oposate to mine, I had goods less than 24 hrs later. Sorry to hear that you've had such a bad experience with them.
    If my typing is pants or I seem partcuarly blunt, please excuse me, it physically hurts to type. :wall: If I seem a bit random and don't make a lot of sense, it may have something to do with the voice recognition software that I'm using!

    I am still waiting on a refund, the amp was a Peavey valveking head, and 412 slant cab, when I ordered on 20th October they said they could order it in, and it wouldn't be a problem, this was all done over the phone, money was debited that same day. Then each time I phoned they said they would get back to me & never did... have now resorted to try for refund to Sainsburys Credit Card under section 75 for non-delivery...sorry I ever heard of them.
