  • I received what sounds like the same letter this morning. Haven't had the chance to read the small print yet (there's 54 pages of it)!

    One thing to note though...

    Paying by Direct Debit
If you currently pay by Direct Debit we will shortly be sending you a new mandate to complete. Please note you'll need to make manual payments until this Direct Debit is set up. We'll send you more information about this soon.

Yes got one of these this morning but they have removed the purchase protection insurance so i think i will be ditching this card from now on as its one of the main reasons i use any credit card.

Look again - the purchase protection is now within the travel policy "See page 27 of the policy document for a summary & pages 50 & 51 for the full policy terms and conditions"

This looks like a good deal to me. Travel insurance for nothing except using the card that I always use now. So a short trip away is always covered - even within the UK. Just cost out a policy for the card holder, spouse and children for 60 days at any one time & tell me it's not worth having. Also, spouse and children don't have to be traveling with the cardholder to be covered.:T
