Paypal/HSBC Fraudulent Transaction

Hi all,

I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this but it does involve my current account so here goes.....

At the start of December I noticed a fraudulent transaction from Paypal that had been debited from my HSBC current account.

I immediately reported it to HSBC who set things in motion, they said that my card had been cloned, cancelled it and sent me a new one. Afterwards I logged into my Paypal account to find that Paypal had already flagged it as a fraudulent transaction so I filled in the details on line there as well.

On 24th December Paypal refunded the money back into my account and I was a happy bunny.

Today (31st December) I logged back into my HSBC account and now HSBC have credited the same amount of money back into my account. So now i've been credited twice!!

I am an honest person at heart, so my question is......

Who do I owe the money back too?? Do I report it to the bank or Paypal. I just know that whatever I do, its probably going to be a pain in the butt to sort it.

Thanks in advance (and a Happy New Year to all!!)

Stew
