Help! Lower Vat rate for honeymoon (deposit already paid)?

I need to know urgently if the balance for my honeymoon should be recalculated at the new Vat rate of 15%. We booked and paid the deposit in August 08 and due to travel in March. With the drop in Vat we 'should' save a bit over a hundred pounds so makes a difference to us!
Holiday company have just told me that it only applies to new bookings, is this right? They also said 'it's just a few pounds'.....
If anyone could confirm it would be appreciated!

No refund due at all. VAT was only payable on the profit made, which isn't very much anyway, and VAT is payable based on the date of booking. For once, they are telling you the truth!0

Oh well! Thanks anyway
I guess it would be too much that we might actually benefit from the cut in VAT!!!!!:D0 -
Yes, like so many things it sounded a lot better than any of us have found subsequently. On the bright side, it wasn't a reduction of 2.5% of the holiday price, as there is no VAT on transport but only on the profit margin, if the company made a £100 profit, the difference would only be £2 so no point in worrying, just pay and enjoy the holiday!0
