Will my cheque bounce?

Will try and keep my potential problem short but correct:
Opening an ISA with Newcastle BS with my returned Icesave funds.
1. I sent a cheque to NBS on 26th Dec, however I then noticed that my funds were not in my cheque account (IF.com savings account).
2. I set up a BACS transaction from IF to my cheque account for the eariest date available which was 29th Dec.
3. IF have performed their part of the BACS transation on 29th Dec.
4. NBS have processed my cheque because as of 30th Dec its showing the money in "processing" (BTW - I did phone them to say don't cash until 02Jan
)
5. I've checked my cheque account today (31Jan) and the BACS transaction from IF has still not come into the account.
My question is will be cheque bounce?
If so is there anything I can do?
Cheers

I would have thought you'd be ok.
I've found BACS takes 3 days to get into my account.
It takes between 3-5 days for a cheque to clear.If it's not a bargain, it's not worth buying
