Eurocamp / Keycamp Holidays any site recommendations?

We are looking for a cheapish holiday abroad and have decided we are going to go with either Eurocamp or Keycamp.
I remember going on a few Eurocamp holidays to France with my parents when i was younger 9-10+ but I cannot remember where abouts in France we used to stay. They are not here to ask.
We are thinking of either Holland, Spain or France, we will be travelling by car & ferry and was wondering if anyone can recommend a site in either country.
We have two sons who will be 4 & 7 and we are looking to go mid June for 2 weeks. we want somewhere with lots to do to keep the boys entertained.
Having not been to France since a child I'm not really sure where best to visit. We will be hoping for a bit of Sun. DH is thinking of Spain. we have looked at Berny-Rivière, Paris because its close but not too close to disneyland. Having been there a few times before its not a place we are desperate to visit, even though the boys proberbly would be.

I can recommened thoroughly Camping La Baume for Eurocamp and Keycamp holidays. Its got sun and loads of activities for the kids. Its right in between Monaco, Frejus, Cannes, Nice and St Tropez.

I highly recommend Duinrell near den Haag in the Netherlands, although not for 2 weeks and not if sun is your priority. It will easily keep your boys amused for a week there as it's a theme park and waterpark as well as a campsite.
I wouldn't call Eurocamp or Keycamp holidays necessarily cheap though. There are other operators who are often on the same sites but chaper, such as Canvas, Vacances Select, Suncamp or Happy Camp. You can often get cheaper accommodation on sites when booked direct with the campsite. At Duinrell, they have 4 person "duingalows" which are usually cheaper than Eurocamp and Keycamp.

I agree Duinrell is fab for the kids, but frenetic! And I couldn't handle two weeks there- we've been several times. You may find that it's would also be better left for a trip when the kids are a couple of years older in order to get the most from it.
We've "camped" with Eurosites, Eurocamp, and Keycamp in lots of different locations. Eurocamp were best if there was a problem, but not necessarily cheapest.
If you're going for two weeks, I'd recommend splitting the holiday between three sites- pick the furthest site for the middle of the stay, and find one for the way down, and one for the way up. That way you get to see lots more, get a wider choice of facilities and if you find yourself at a site you don't like that much, you're not there the entire time.
I'd recommend this site in June, it's really lovely- but not during high season!

It has a nice pool, clean lake for swimming & canoeing & is very family friendly. The surrounding area is very "French"
I know you've not mentioned it as a prefrence, but I'd strongly recommend Germany, Austria & Italy too.
Canvas have a site near to Europa Park- great for kids of that age range (and they take Clubcard vouchers)

Austria & Germany are lovely in June- and the food is great but often sadly overlooked.
Italians are incredibly family friendly, day to day prices can be much cheaper than the rest of Europe-and the area around Lake Garda is stunning.
Hope this helps!
Happy new year, and have fun choosingOnly dead fish go with the flow...0 -
Castel Montgri near L'Estartit, Costa Brava is brilliant for families (although hilly)
Lots of tour opps feature this site and prices can vary quite a lot so its worth searching around.
Heres a list of tour opps who do these self drive camp site holidays

Hi we went to Les Genets campsite with Direct Camping.its by St Jean de Monts in the Vendee part of France.I can thoroughly recommend both the campsite and the area itself.Loads to do for all the family.
Direct Camping were a lot cheaper than the main operators and very pleasant and easy to deal with.

I agree with Budgetflyer, that area is brilliant for kids. I was told of a camp site called Cypsella, Playa de Pals so I paid £212 for two adults and four kids and we had the best holiday ever. It was a few years ago now but its the one holiday that my kids talk about all the time. So much to see and do and very very safe. Close to Barcelona and bigger resorts if you need it but I think the site offers everything a young family need.
We drove there but it would probably be better to fly drive to Gerona.
Have fun0
