If you knew a TINY part of my life over the last few years, you would know you are so far off you, you wouldn't believe it. I had a partner who was an alcoholic who occasionally decided to hold me down by the throat and tell me it was my time to die. I then had a manager who made my life such a misery that I had a breakdown. I have spent the last 18 months getting my life back together from being at a mental rock bottom, from not even having the courage to go out of the house, let alone go to work and I am now re-trained, with the beginning of a new career after leaving a senior managerial post I'd held for many years and filled with a new confidence I have never had in my life - much of it due to the wonderful group of friends on DFW I now have.

How dare you come into a thread where you have never been before and start being rude and arrogant - that's 2 of us you have upset already today.


Trust me, you are certainly not going to make friends here if you decide to go through each one us - Snaggles, Bunny, Buffy, I_A Len etc who all share their problems and family issues and speak to them as you are to me.

BB I am so sorry. I obviously did not know your story until a few minutes ago and my heart goes out to you. However, i hope I have had the good sense not to offer advise about things I do not comprehend.

I seem to have upset this guy by rebuffing his pm 'advances' and I can only apologise.:mad:

actually a lot of us think BB should leave this guy

but you know what it is HER decision and we will be here for her whether she does or not

it is not OUR decision to make

she did not ask your opinion

we (I hope BB doesn't mind me including myself in this) are her friends

and you know what? friends don't judge, they are there for you when things are great, and they are there for you when things are !!!!, they do NOT just barge in and tell you how to live your life

Right that is totally enough folks, I am getting upset in a place that I rely on for support and friendship.

BB is a very dear friend and believe me knows the predictable behaviour of her OH much more that you do insider, and one night of her behaving differently isnt going to make a jot of difference.

Can we please get back to lighthearted and cheerful chat that we come here for? xxxx

This is the DFW Daily Chat thread - this is where friends come to each other for support. Read back a few days, I'm sure there are plenty of other regulars you could impart your arrogant wisdom on in a similar fashion and see how they react.
