No you keep your germs thanks, I had the flu before Christmas, to be honest I will be totally OK when I get back to work, its just the thought of going back thats daunting.

Another one of my resolutions for the new year (in addition to being less grumpy) is to give myself credit for the things I do instead of giving myself such a hard time.

Lou when are you grumpy:confused: a bit hard on yourself perhaps yes, but not grumpy......

No resolutions.....lets all just do a bunny and learn to love the inner goddess...:T

Hi Insider, normally chat forums can be quite clicquey and anyone from the 'outside' that tries to 'get in' gets rebuffed and verbally abused. However, DFW is different AND totally unique in this aspect. There are several clicques on DFW of which each one of those clicques knows eachother inside out and if we think someone maybe upset or in need of help we gather around like vultures to defend them. I think perhaps you have been a little 'over familiar' with BB giving out advice that is not becoming of your standing with her. Dont want to scare you off and I hope you can see what I mean. Len

Hey Lenny, did you enjoy your New Year Matey:D
But these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.

Sparkle - we met in a pub in amongst a group of people with a common interest so I knew we had stuff in common. When he first met me, he was very charming. Kind, considerate, thoughtful, bit of a knight in shining armour, rescuing me from my previous relationship.

It lasted about 3 months...........he had an argument with someone we knew who thought he wasn't quite all he seemed and he literally just gave up and became who he is these days.

i've seen him be like that with other women when we are occasionally out - he comes across as witty, thoughtful and there as someone who listens to them.

rugbymum - I think it's the companionship, if I'm honest.

    Anyway, enough of that carp.

I'm off to get Charlie and I'm off for a walk in the park before it gets any colder.

you need to have a long think.

it would be a short think for me, but then i'm not the idiot you appear to be....

treat him like you just met - like he is the man you wanted - which part of this post don't you get?

I'm not some woman here to console you and tell you you're right... YOU ARE
    WRONG

You need to get your head round the fact that you need this guy, and treat him as such.

Maybe then you will get what you want.

    I appreciate your words Len,
however, those that are (too) close almost always give bad advice.

    They only see one side.

I stand by my decision to tell BB what i know.

    thankyou though,

i'm not here to win friends - i'm here to help
