Well - it all started off well. DS2 in bed by 8pm, DS1 in bed by 10:30 after a Twilight Zone fest, bottle of champagne, watching neighbours fireworks and then we planned to see the New Year in with a bang.

BUT

Fireworks woke up DS2, who then cried so much he refused to go into his bed, he was still awake at 3am with a temperature, so Mr Caroline73 took him downstairs so I could sleep. They came back up at 6am where we all slept until 9am...and now I am up and grumpy.
