help wii setup

I have set up the wii and all seems to be working well. I have also connected it to my wireless router.

1. Can I browse the net via the wii?
2. Play game sonline with others?
3. I also heard people talking about downloading mii's, How do I do this?

You can browse the net when you buy the Internet channel from the shopping channel. Best bet is to register all your registration cards on nintendo's site and get stars then redeem them for points. Depending on what games/hardware you have you could have enough to purchase the Internet channel.

You can play games as long as you Wii is connected to the net and the game has a net facility

On the main screen you will have the option to create Mii's in the Mii channel

Don't know about 3, but you can def. do the first two. If you have a wireless network at home, you can just tap into that with your Wii.

Quick question about connecting to your wireless router, do you use an ethernet cable or what?

Yes, and watch BBC iPlayer on it

Quick question about connecting to your wireless router, do you use an ethernet cable or what?

No you use wireless! The wii has built in WiFi so all you need is the WPA or WEP key from your router.

No I just connected wireless, I have my wii and pc both connected wireless and the router is just plugged into the mains and phone line.

im am so pleased i read this! i did know you could buy the internet channel for 500 points, which i have got from registing my wii and ds games, but i didnt know you could watch tv from it! what a good idea! though i have got sky plus but still good incase i miss something
