Euro Vs Sterling?

 Hi,
We currently have euros in Spain from the sale of our property two years ago. We left it there as we had planned on re-investing in another property. Obviously now would be a great time to buy another property, but we think we would benefit from maybe changing our Euros into Sterling and sitting tight for another year or so. Are there any draw backs from changing our Euros into Sterling? We just don't want to make a huge mistake, as for the moment, the Euros are still earning better interest than here. We do have a Sterling account at the bank in Spain also....Thanks
