Which type of lettuce...
Someone on my local Freecycle site gave me some lettuce seedlings a couple of years ago but I'm not sure what type they were.
They were small crisp lettuces but I don't think they were little gems as they were more open than closed.
I would like to grow some myself from seed this year but I am not sure which type of seeds to buy.
Can someone recommend a type of crisp lettuce which can easily be grown in small plastic tiered greenhouses please.
Ta.

Cos type is the long leaved, narrow & crisp type, sort of cylindrical
If unsure keep a lookout for mixed salad seeds, that way you get lots of varieties, and normally can "cut & come again" giving a longer cropping periodNumerus non sum0 -
