good deal indeed, but would have been nicer to have had more storage (250gb supplied).

Recording TV can take up a huge amount of space and 250gb can be filled really quickly.

But not a major issue as 250gb hard drives are quite cheap now and they are dead easy to fit.

    Regards

    by the sound of it , you have added - Intel® Viiv™ technology -Intel® Pentium® D 950 Dual Core(3.40GHz,800MHz,2x2MB) [add £446.50 or £11/month1]
    instead of the 920 dual core - Intel® Viiv™ technology -Intel® Pentium® D 920 Dual Core(3.40GHz,800MHz,2x2MB) [Included in Price]

  • Chances are Dell will ship you a PC with the 2.8 processor if you select that D920 option, as thats the Intel code for the Viiv 2.8 - looks like its just a typo in the description (3.4 instead of 2.8). I guess you could always return it if they do, or spend a few days/weeks trying to convince tech. support to upgrade it!
  • take a screen shot to be on the safe side.
  • sorry but this isnt cheap at all. Firstly its not the ultrasharp tft, the video card is weak (x600 core is rubbish, and hypermemory means it steals 196mb from the system memory - it only has 64mb onboard) and the hard drive is not particulary large.
