I bought on line this evening, it doesnt show if you just search for freeview, use the full name.
1 person who just bought rates it very highly, I wont get mine delivered till Thursday and I expect the stock to be gone by then as its a good reduction in price. All Dell'd upseveral times over

The only thing with it, is that you don't get interactive services, but other than that it's ok.It's not easy having a good time. Even smiling makes my face ache.0

Thanks, just before I clicked pay, I checked back here.
You don't want this if it hasn't got interactive services, whether you think you'll use them or not.0 -
A lot of these cheap reduced Freeview boxes don't have the new 8 day program guide, which makes recording programs so much easier.0

Scan (shudder) quote:
The box can use interactive (red button services), however you wont be able to use the functions for voting, playing games etc, as its not connected to a phone line.
The Dimentions of this unit are: W:23cm D:19cm H:2cm. but you will need an extra fly lead if you intend to use the TV loop through.
Its admittedly cheaper from scan but once you add the City link delivery of around £10? it comes out pretty evens with Comet.
I for one and I am sure there are plenty more like me will not again buy from Scan after several bad bits of kit and even worse after sales service, but you pays your money and takes your choice. All Dell'd upseveral times over

LOL
I know what you mean
They suck ;D
Btw, dont forget the vat they put on the £10 citylink makes it £11.750 -
The Echostar T101+ is also a worthy buy, now £39.99 at Woolies although it doesnt show online. Argos have the non-plus version, which doesnt have the 8-day EPG, for £44.99 so I bought two from Woolies - excellent bit of kit, very impressed. It was recommended on here in another thread.
Apologies to the original poster, not trying to hijack the thread, just offering an alternative that I can personally recommend. He huihuinga taangata he pukenga whakaaro – A meeting of people; a wellspring of ideas (Maori proverb)0 -
This offer is only available online.
Mine arrived today from Comet. Not too bad actually, like the design and it is interactive. My 15" LCD TV I got recently from Sainsburys (£199.99) neatly fits on top, however I'm not sure if we're supposed to do that, but never mind!
However I wasn't too pleased that they sent me one that had already been opened and set up. Presumably this was a returned one. The box itself works fine though and I'm not going to go through the hassle of returning it for a new one, as much as I was tempted to.
Slight bug found with the channel locking up when the favourite button pressed (anyone else had the same problem?). Also anyone know if there is meant to be any cables with the package, as mine had none (except power supply).0
