Hi
looking at replacing my old canon mini dv camcorder
Was looking at the panasonic sdr s7 but the which review put me off, then looked at the JVC mz ms100, but the chap in Jessops said the canon sf100 was better! But the gadget show like the Jvc
read loads of reviews and I am so confused!
I have a young family and need it for general stuff, sports days and holidays.
Do not want to spend more than £200, it needs to be small-portable and play back will be on a windows laptop or a Pansonic plasma 42"
Any ideas?
Thanks

I bought the canon fs100 before Christmas and am really impressed for the price. It's very small and light and easy to use. There is an 'easy' setting so the kids can just point and shoot without worrying.
The only downside I've seen is that when zooming in close in dark conditions the picture can become a bit pixellated.
I paid £180 from Amazon plus there is an additional £30 cashback from Canon (I think it's still on).0
