My 8 yo son has inherited an old IBM thinkpad from his older brother and bought an I.T.Works webcam to use with it. However the webcam which is designed to clip onto the laptop does not fit on the top but will clip onto the side of the screen. The problem is that this then means his video/picture is shown sideways!! Is there any way of changing this so that the camera can be clipped onto the side but the picture is the right way up?

Usually in the webcam software you have an option to rotate or flip the picture.0

So if I change it using the camera software will it show the right way when using Skype?xxx Nikki xxx0

OK - have tried but nowhere in the camera software is there an option to turn the image 90 degrees - the only option is to flip which isn't helping!xxx Nikki xxx0

Can you not swivel the viewfinder?0

It swivels slightly but doesn't turn enough to put the image up the right way! As it's an old crappy lappy I'm probably going to fix a block on the top that the camera can clip on to!xxx Nikki xxx0
