Tried today at Edgware Argos, having reserved on line last night the carnival game and mini golf. Assistant not happy so manager came over and they were not going to back down. OH got them to ring Head office, customer services , loads of apologies but they will not honour it as it was a glitch on the system. All stores have received an email allegedly. At the end of the day , good luck to those of you who managed it.

Today I got golf & carnival games from the Solihull Mill Lane for £9.80, the sa didn't say a word, just adjusted the price to 2p for one of them! :j

Also got cooking mama & carnival games from Leamington Spa for £19.58, saving almost £10 under this glitch..

I managed to get it today as well in Dundee but manageress was not a happy bunny and said she would not be honoring anyone else's reservations with that deal. Must say felt really smug leaving the store with the games! :j

I tried to get 2, and got a reservation number for 2 games, with the total at £9.80. I went to my argos with the number and the guy refused to believe that I had an order showing 9.80 for both.

Is it worth me going back tomorrow wiht a print out of the order?

If you add the carnival games and the rayman raving rabbids you get the rayman raving rabbids for £9.80 instead of £18.

I paid £34.99 for that game ages ago

It also works with Sonic Riders 2 & Crazy Golf or Carnival Games, they come up at 2p.

oh managed to collect both games carnival and golf (2p) , they tried to refuse but he showed printout and said to phone head office so they said no hassle and gave him at online price:j

i did manage to glitch some xbox games earlier but went too greedy and it put em all back up again:rolleyes: oh was gutted so will try again later:rotfl:

I've been back twice now with different reservation numbers, due to the fact that the clitch hasn't been fixed, and they won't let me have them!! Right miserable manageress , proper attitude problem!! Wouldn't mind but i was really polite.

I had a printout of the reservation, but they wouldn't have it!! I phoned customer services twice now. First time lovely lady told me that they were fixing the problem and couldn't do anything, really apologetic. Second time i phoned got a right stroppy madam who said that if the store wants to give the offer then that's up to them???? Not very good really.

Good luck if you manage to get them!! get two if you can and i'll have a set!
