Morning All
Yesterday was a NSD for me. Today, however I need a few things, but hopefully will get another one by the end of the week. Don't know if its cause it January and the budget is tighter or what but finding the NSD challenge a lot easier this month.0 -
 Hi guys,
I'm starting to feel a bit perkier. The doc has given me some more antibiotics and steroids, but only signed me off for a week this time so she must think I'm on the mend - which is very good news.
(I'm certain stress is a factor. Whenever I've been this ill in the past something has always been going on)
Yesterday was a spend day (and some!) as I picked up the Daily Mails that my friends had saved for me, for the Cranford DVDs, did a (smallish) Lidl shop and went out for lunch.
I also posted an eBay parcel and filled a prescription, but I don't count these because the prescription is prepaid once a year and the eBay postage was paid for by the buyer.
Thanks ever so much for your ongoing support my lovelies. I think if Hubby's work would make the final announcement regarding redundancies then at least I would know what we're dealing with and we could start making a plan. As it stands the uncertainty is killing me.
This has been dragging on for ages now whilst they ask for voluntary redundancies, nobody comes forward so they sweeten the pot a little and ask for voluntary redundancies again.... (Nobody comes forward because the company is only 4 years old so nobody will get much of a payout.)
I guess the delay is because they find it hard to make anyone redundant...
These are tough times we are living in...
On the bright side though, because of two and a half years of MSEing we are in a much stronger position than we might have been
AND
Last night I had a totally saucy dream about Terry from Celebrity Big Brother which cheered me up no end. Hubby said I woke up giggling!
Love Jacks xxx(I've just gone beetroot!)

I feel really guilty now - mentioned to my dad (jokingly) last night that him and my mum hadn't sent me and my BF an engagement card, and now my mum's put £50 in the bank for us! It was only a joke but she said she felt really bad that she hadn't thought to send one. Hi everyone and hey Jacks - I hope things work out for the best for you and DH, but you are right in that you are prepared and would know what to do more now than a few years ago!
Another NSD today for me, which takes me up to 7 already this month! I had said I would do 10 this month and I'm sure tomorrow is going to be a NSD too, so maybe I was a bit conservative with my aim!
