Dont know where Id be without my cardcreaser! One of the best things Ive ever bought! Saved a fortune on cards this way! (and makes lovely boxes for cards, gifts, so quickly and easily!)
(they sell them cheap on Ebay I noticed, for anyone interested)

I bought loads of cheap xmas cards in the sales, just for the envelopes!
(VERY good quality ones in WHSmiths boxes that were only 49p!)
I also buy notelet sets from places like woolworths etc when there on offer.

You could always make a template from an envelope (I use acetate sheets for things like this) and use double sided sticky tape for the 'stick down flap' .......

But, I agree with Calley.........I use cheap ones the majority of the time, never had any complaints from my customers .......yet! lol.........
I usually stamp a nice corner on them, or use peel off wastes to 'pretty them up'
Where can you get the card creaser from?

They sell them on Ebay as Tatts mentioned, but they are also available from this online craft shop that has good prices & no rip off p&p charges. In fact I think p&p is currently free.

They sell peel offs at the super low price of 45p too.
The bigger the bargain, the better I feel.

I should mention that there's only one of me, don't confuse me with others of the same name.

Call me stingey, but all these are is a piece of wood routed at the appropriate points with indents to score the cards.

My father-in-law made Mrs Bunking Off one from a spare piece of melamine-backed chipboard (otherwise known as a scrap kitchen worktop...). Can't believe they've got the cheek to charge a tenner for that....I think I spy a business opportunity!

Sparkle, I think ebay is your best bet although I know of a forum that allows members to sell their unwanted craft items in a marketplace board.

Regarding card blanks, The Range (and other docrafts stockists) are selling packs of 50 cards with envelopes - Craftonic Range(white, cream or pastels) in a5, square, small tall and tall sizes for £4.99 - they are going to be £7.99 after an introductory period. They are nice quality too.

Cheapest place for cards and supplies of the best selection and quality has to be QVC at https://www.qvcuk.com and you can see their expert Dawn Bibby every Tuesday at 14.00 hours. - not I don't work for them - just think they are good!

...or alternatively go to their outlet at Birchwood, Warrington - it's where the returns all turn up. Usually bags of assorted odds & ends. You might draw a blank but can be lucky (e.g. have got £90+ stuff for <£10).

https://www.cannycrafts.com are excellent, they often have free p+p periods and sales on all stock. I bought my card creaser there and its not the mdf one, its plastic...(paid £9 for it in the sale at canny).....It is pricey for what its made of, but for ease of use, and for how much time it saves you...........its worth every penny if you make a lot of cards! ( and boxes!) couldnt live without mine now.......and makes me wonder how I lived without it before! lol........ (and I AM stingy when it comes to making my money pay for itself in terms of supplies and tools! lol)
I make around 20 cards per week to sell on average........so well worth it for me, for someone who is an occassional crafter......perhaps the old 'measure and score' method would work out better moneywise???...but that depends on how much money you have to spend really doesnt it??? lol

Edited post...... sorry put co.uk instead of .com originally........and the other canny.co.uk ceased trading in feb! Panicked then, thought my fav supplier had closed down!!!
    Tatts :hello: :kisses2:
