English heritage are offering a free child entry with each paying adult. You need to download a voucher from the website
http://www.english-heritage.org.uk/server/show/nav.9529. only valid til end of april though. Just time for a George and the dragon trail!
  • If you spend £5 they are giving the vouchers out again.

I bought a £2 snap map from a vending machine in the London Tube station, an excellent map if you need one and it did have some offers.

Epilepsy- I didn't realise that you can get a 1/3 off train travel for you and your travelling companion if you purchase a Disabled railcard for £14 (lasts for a year). This even applies if you are not registered disabled and have a full driving license. Check out https://www.railcard.co.uk

you have to register with brewsters, look at the offers and choose £5 off a meal for 2, or select 'kids go free' and you can print 3 vouchers, valid at over 200 attractions:

If you have children, take them to the library, get them to join The reading mission. They need to borrow 3 books, they will recieve some stickers and a booklet. We were also given a leaflet for Alton towers with adults £15 and children £10 to be used from now until Oct 26 2006. The leaflet admis 2 adults and 2 children. Was also told when my son takes his books back we will recieve more discount vouchers for other places. He will get some more stickers and at the end he will get a certificate ( I think). Ok if thinking of taking kids over 6wk hols. Hope this helps.

  • I know that some University student union shops are selling Alton Towers tickets for £15 each. You dont have to be a student to use the shops and as far as i know, they dont ask for any ID when selling the tickets as its a general adult entry ticket (ie not a student ticket)
Might be worth checking your local students union website as it will probably say on there if your local one is selling them.
These tickets are valid until sometime in Oct 2006 too.
    hope that helps anyone
