Paying credit card

Hi i have just had my first credit card a natwest one and i have spent on it and was just wondering i have not had my first bill for the month through yet but i do online banking, so i was wondering even though i haven't recieved my first bill yet can i pay some off towards it?

    It is really best to wait until you receive the statement (or can see the statement online as you shouldn't rely on the post).

    If you pay some, but not all, of the balance off before the statement is produced you will still be required to make at least the Minimum Payment on the statement and if you don't you will incur a penalty charge.
