Hi
I wonder if anyone can help me. I have just bought some replacement cartridges for my HP printer, I bought the PC WORLD own version which said they were compatible with my make and model of printer (and £21 as opposed to £36 for the HP ones) Got them installed and the printer wont recognise them, it keeps saying either "cannot detect cartridges" or "cartridges not compatible" Does anyone know if there is a away to override this? If not, will PC world refund me even though I have opened the cartridges and put them in my printer? Any help much appreciated

It's always a bit hit and miss with compatible cartridges.
As for taking them back to PC World: You'll probably be met with a good amount of resistance but your consumer rights state that the goods sold to you must be 'fit for purpose'. If they don't work at all then they have an obligation to take them back.0 -
Thanks, just sent OH off to PC World to do battle, and get our money back.
Can anyone recommend anwahere online cheapish to buy them? Have used Incycle before but not sure my HP printer will recognise anything other than HP brand?0 -
