Hi,
I've been registered semi self employed since april 2008, should I have received a tax return to fill out?
I have also decided to terminate my self employed work to concentrate on my employed work, who will I need to contact and do I need to request a tax return?
Sorry for all the questions but thanks in advance.

Yes, you need to fill in a self assessment if you have income not taxed at source. Chase the HMC.
You will get a return to fill in for about 3 years even if you are not self employed anymore, you just fill it in as a nil return.

You cannot register semi self employed..
Anyway, you won't get a tax return to complete until after April 2009 with it being your first year of trading.
If you are finishing S/E you need to notify HMRC by phoning the SE helpline. Make sure when you complete your SA form, you tick the box saying you finished SE and the date.0 -
